Example 1.3b(29): Solve pq = y.

Solution: Given: pq = y…………..(1)

This equation is of the form f (v,p,q)

Assume p = a (constant)


 

Example 1.3b (30) : Solve q=py + p2

Solution: Given : q = py + p2

This equation of the form f(y,p,q) = 0

Assume p = a (constant)


Eliminate 'a' between (3) and (4), we get general solution.
